The activity of Laboratori Guidotti focuses on four main therapeutic areas:

Respiratory Area

We are active in the treatment of two important chronic respiratory diseases: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchial asthma.

Cardiovascular Area

We are at the forefront of therapeutic solutions for the treatment of high blood pressure and the prevention of the associated cardiovascular risk.

Diabetology Area

We aim to improve the quality of life of people with diabetes mellitus with safe, state-of-the-art treatment options.

Dyslipidaemia area

We work to counteract changes in blood lipid levels, such as triglycerides and cholesterol.

Other Therapeutic Areas

Iron is a necessary mineral not only because it forms part of the structure of numerous enzymes that play important metabolic roles, but above all because it is indispensable for the production of haemoglobin, the protein found in red blood cells (erythrocytes) and responsible for transporting oxygen to all organs.

Laboratori Guidotti is also engaged in the treatment of calcium, vitamin D and iron deficiency-related diseases, spastic-painful abdominal manifestations, as well as in the urological treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy, and has in its pipeline drugs that can be classified as anti-infectives: an antibiotic for hospital use and an anti-viral against Herpes Zoster virus infection.
